About Us
Level Engineering LLC
Jesse Shumate, co-founder of Level Engineering LLC, is a licensed professional engineer in Oregon and California with a wide range of experience in structural engineering. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from UCLA. Jesse began her career working on large-scale projects like schools and hospitals in Southern California, where she gained invaluable experience in complex structural systems. After moving back to Oregon, she shifted her focus to smaller commercial and residential projects, where she found joy in working closely with clients to create safe structures.
Outside of her engineering work, Jesse is dedicated to spending time with family and friends, exploring Oregon’s landscapes, and traveling to experience new cultures. Her commitment to balance and a well-rounded perspective fuels her creative and detail-oriented approach to engineering. At Level Engineering, Jesse’s diverse experience and strong community focus bring an exceptional level of dedication and expertise to every project.
